Spring Job Fair Draws Record Crowd

Yesterday, the Spring Job Fair drew a record-breaking crowd to the BX. More than 1,600 people attended the event, sponsored by the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, the Southeast Tennessee Development District and the Tennessee Career Center, to explore potential job openings in the region.
More than 60 employers were on hand to discuss job openings and accept applications.

Job Fair Tomorrow!
May 9th, 2012
Tomorrow, the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Southeast Tennessee Development District and the Tennessee Career Center will host the 2012 Spring Job Fair.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the BX in Brainerd. More than 60 employers will be there recruiting for positions within the region.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of a current resume and come prepared for one-the-spot interviews. Parking is available at the BX.

Open Positions at SETDD

Update: As of 5/11/2012, the Development District is no longer accepting resumes for these positions.
The Southeast Tennessee Development District is currently accepting resumes for several open positions: an Economic Development Business Specialist, a Regional Planner and four Worksite Monitors.
